Gardo® Control allows continuous and user-friendly line monitoring, based on parameters such as consumption, temperature, pH and conductivity. It also automatically controls the dosing processes to allow corrections in real time. Gardo® Control tackles pain points such as missing data history or manual product dosing.
Gardo® Control is a globally available and standardized system offered by Chemetall. It will be tailor-made to every single customer pretreatment line and comes with components of high quality and accuracy, which are developed within the BASF group. The system is easy to install and operate and will be supported through the well-known network of Chemetall and BASF experts.
The system consists of sensors, dosing pumps, laces, simplified cable connection, piping, and tubes, which are controlled by local units and a central unit for automated processing and storing data such as pH, µS, °C, or chemical consumption. Chemetall provides the system in the basic version already fully equipped, including assembly, testing, and training of operators.
Optional add-on packages are also available to increase the effectiveness of Gardo® Control. These packages include e.g., titrators and photometers, flow meter, level sensor, messaging features in case of alarms, and remote access to the system. These packages are continuously improved and enlarged to broaden the portfolio.
Gardo® Control supports customers operations with its easiness of use, savings in terms of resources like water and chemicals as well as the reduction of waste, due to improved process handling based on data. This also leads to a reduction of scrap rate and claims. With the system, line data are captured 24/7, helping to build a data history to increase the process handling. Less manual dosing or measurement tasks contribute to a setup that is safer compared to manually or non-monitored lines.
