I am the Human Resources and the Accounting Manager for Chemetall in Italy.

In 1998 I started as an accounting employee for a company called Nec Chimica Italia, which became Chemetall in 2000. As an accounting employee, I was responsible for credit control, sales and general ledger. Two years later, I was in charge of the tax returns, VAT accounting, cash flow and bank accounting. In 2004, I became the Accounting Manager and five years later, I was again promoted and took on the responsibility also for the Human Resources and Treasury department.

Here at Chemetall, the employees always have the opportunity to find answers to questions and solutions to different problems they are faced with. In my opinion, problems are challenges to improve ourselves!

At Chemetall we are optimistic and open-minded. This creates an open working environment and allows for good communication among the employees and managers. These are important aspects for all of us who are proactive and multitasking.

In my job, every day is unique and different to the day before. I love my broad field of activities: from conversations and discussions with our employees as a Human Resource Manager to the accounting, bank and cash flow controls as an Accounting Manager.

It is great to have the opportunity to improve my knowledge about legislation - not only the Italian one. That is the good thing about working in a global company. I can also compare my way of working with colleagues from other countries.

I love my job and with Chemetall, it is a (positive) challenge every day.
