Electrocoating

Electrocoating is an innovative and highly effective method for applying organic coatings to metal parts using direct electric current. Compared to traditional spray methods, electrocoating provides superior corrosion protection and improved edge protection, ensuring excellent coverage of rough surfaces such as cast iron. It guarantees film thickness and consistent quality, even in hard-to-reach areas. One notable example is CathoGuard® E-Coat, which specifically protects surfaces, edges, and cavities of a car's body against corrosion. 

Our electrocoating process also boasts high smoothness where required, along with high throwing power that minimizes run-outs and effectively bridges gaps. It maintains a more stable gloss across varying curing temperatures, contributing to reduced material and solvent consumption. Our e-coat is available in black, grey, white, and blue, and it supports process savings and material efficiency while operating with minimal paint and high automation.
