Organic Coating

For applications requiring excellent corrosion protection, formability, anti-fingerprint properties, and paint ability thin organic coating (TOC) provide an advanced and efficient solution.  

This application enhances metal durability, simplifies processing, and eliminates the need for additional lubricating oils. Compared to conventional passivation, TOC offers superior corrosion resistance, anti-fingerprint properties, and strong adhesion to PUR foams, making them ideal for sandwich panels and other demanding applications. They are fully compatible with both powder and liquid paints, ensuring a seamless and durable finish. 

TOC is particularly well-suited for zinc-coated substrates, including hot-dip galvanized steel, multiple aluminum alloys (e.g. zinc-aluminum, aluminum-zinc, and zinc-magnesium, zinc-aluminum-magnesium), as well as cold-rolled steel, aluminum, and titanium zinc. Available in both chrome and non-chrome versions, they can be customized with different color options to meet specific application requirements.  As water-based, solvent-free technologies, TOC supports sustainable production by reducing process complexity, minimizing waste, and lowering overall costs.

For even greater efficiency, VIANT and Gardobond PC pretreatment primers integrate both pretreatment and primer application into a single step, eliminating the need for additional primer paint.
